Triad Interactive begins work on genetic testing kiosk
Washington, D.C., october 2002

Triad Interactive has been chosen to develop an interactive kiosk for the Derald H. Ruttenberg Cancer Center, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York as part of a grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The kiosk will be used by African American women from East Harlem making a decision whether or not to be tested for BR(east)CA(ncer)1 or BRCA2 susceptibility genes.

The purpose of the kiosk is two-fold - education and assessment. In the education portion of the kiosk study participants will be presented with a number of issues to consider when making the decision about genetic testing. They will then be asked to apply what they learned and consider their own views on whether they want to be tested or not.

Triad Interactive, Inc. is a leading designer and developer of interactive products. It has an outstanding reputation as an innovative force in the multimedia industry.
