News: Back to Back Champions, D.C. Police Win 2006 Finest & Bravest
Washington, D.C., March 26, 2006

The DC Police won their second consecutive Finest & Bravest tournament tonight as they defeated the Baltimore Police by the final score of 6-3 in the tournaments "A" division championship game.

DC, after winning the tourney opening game against the FBI, dropped their second game to the Philadelphia Police by the final score of 5-3. The team ended up winning a three way tie breaker that meant a re-match with Philly in the semi final game. The winner of the semi final game would advance to play the undefeated Baltimore Police and DC didn't disappoint. The team won the semi final game soundly by the score of 8-5 and advanced to the final championship game winning for the second straight year.

The team took the same route to the championship last season as they once again played with their backs against the wall and prevailed. The team will not have long to celebrate as they will close out the season next weekend when they will compete in the DC Fire Burn Center Foundation tournament.
