News: SimNet for Office 2007 now available!

Triad Interactive announces the release of SimNet® for Office 2007 – a complete online learning system to teach and assess student competency in 2007 Microsoft® Office and Windows Vista™. SimNet utilizes a completely online, simulated 2007 Microsoft Office and Windows Vista environment requiring only the Adobe Flash Player 9 and Internet Explorer or Firefox browser.

Triad utilized a variety of Microsoft technologies to create the application backend. Integrating IIS 6.0, ASP.NET 2.0, and Visual Studio 2005 into Triad’s software development strategy significantly increased application performance, usability, and scalability while reducing development time. Leveraging the proven power of IIS 6.0 and ASP .NET 2.0 allowed performance and scalability to be built in from the ground up without sacrificing features or project deadlines. Developing custom web controls in combination with partnering with third party control developers greatly facilitated the re-use of common functionality and increased usability in the process. In combination, integrating these Microsoft technologies into Triad’s software development strategy has helped spur efficient innovation.
