SimNet XPert is a robust Microsoft Office XP tutorial and assessment program. It is distributed via CD-ROM and Internet (through McGraw-Hill's PageOut online learning platform). Triad's responsibilities included writing original content, instructional design, and development, including custom XML programming.
Since its initial release for Spring 2002 classes, more than 150 institutions and 40,000 students have used SimNet XPert. This program has emerged as the leader in simulated application training and assessment in the educational technology market.
SimNet XPert has been Microsoft Office Specialist certified through the Expert level.

SimNet Concepts is a robust learning and assessment program designed for introductory computer classes. SimNet Concepts covers 77 learning concepts and includes 160 graphic-intensive assessment questions. As with SimNet XPert, Triad's responsibilities included all content development, including writing original content, instructional design, audio production, and programming.

Excel Tutor is a stand-alone, self-study program for Microsoft Excel 2002. It includes lessons which cover both the Core (basic) and Expert (advanced) Microsoft Office Specialist objectives. Lessons include Working with Cells and Cell Data, Formatting Worksheets, Creating and Modifying Graphics, Auditing Worksheets, Managing Workbooks, and Workgroup Collaboration.

SimNet 2000 is a testing environment originally developed for McGraw-Hill Higher Education. SimNet 2000 includes simulated application assessment modules for Microsoft Office 2000 programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Office Integration) as well as operating systems (Windows 98 and Windows 2000 Professional) and the Visual Basic programming environment.
Skills tested conform to Microsoft's MOUS (Microsoft Office User Specialist) objectives and cover knowledge areas ranging from Core (basic) to Expert. The Administration program allows the instructor to create customized exams from a question pool of more than 1,000 unique questions. The instructor has the ability to control every aspect of custom exams: passwords, schedules, level of feedback, and printing.

GalleryWatch is an online source for real-time legislative, regulatory, and government information services. They approached Triad Interactive to create online demonstrations of their research tools. Triad's responsibilities included design and production (utilizing Macromedia Flash).

This CD-ROM was developed for McGraw-Hill/Glencoe to accompany the fifth edition of Peter Norton's ® Introduction to Computers. The electronic workbook consists of 28 vocabulary exercises (including matching exercises and crossword puzzles), 28 comprehension exercises, and 56 multi-step application exercises.
Triad's responsibilities included overseeing the development from beginning to end, writing the content, design, and programming. Triad combined proven instructional design methods with innovative simulated interface exercises to create a robust electronic workbook in a short three month development cycle.

This CD-ROM was developed to be packaged as a "drill-and-practice" software supplement with the textbook of the same name. Medical Terminology: Language for Health Care covers more than 1,200 unique medical terms, including audio pronunciations, extensive true/false, multiple choice, and matching exercises. Interactive, scored games include That's Epidemic (a fill-in-the blank Jeopardy®-type game) and Body Parts (a drag-and-drop graphic anatomy game).

Triad developed this CD-ROM for McGraw-Hill/Glencoe for use with an introduction to a criminal justice course. Corrections in the 21st Century includes extensive true/false, multiple choice, matching exercises and the interactive, scored game Just the Facts! (a fill-in-the blank Jeopardy®-type game).
